Golden Valley HS Career Pathways provide an overall emphasis on developing work-place skills and academic rigor that enables our students to become better qualified to compete for a career of their choosing. Our career courses allow students to discover their talents, skills, and abilities and then chart an appropriate path toward career choices in order to produce a more informed, satisfied, and productive workforce.
The pathway model offers students an opportunity to concentrate on a specific cluster of courses that will reward them with a certification within their chosen field of study.
Career path options at Golden Valley for the 2018-19 school year include: Culinary Arts, Information Technology, Multimedia Design, Careers in Education, Allied Health & Wellness, Digital Art & Animation, Fire Science, 21st Century Marketing, Photography, Sports Broadcasting, Law & Government Careers, Forensics & Criminology and Video Production.
