Cathy Novean, M. Ed

Cathy Novean is an experienced educator who has been teaching since 1996. She has industry experience in technical and freelance writing with teaching credentials in Single Subject -English, Multiple Subject, as well as an Administrative Services credential. She earned a BA in English and a Master’s in Curriculum and Design from Virginia Tech and an additional  Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from the University of LaVerne.                                  

 

She takes pride in providing a safe place for students to take academic risks and find their voice. In addition to her role as an educator, Cathy Novean is the yearbook advisor and the Fashion and Design Club advisor.  She is also a member of NCTE (National Council of Teachers of English).
