1. Socratic Seminar. If you have an excused absence today, then you must turn in the questions you answered on "Mother Tongue" and "Ain't I a Woman?" when you return to class. 

Agenda 3/9/15 Monday

1. Read the student samples (packet was passed out during class-you may access this electronically by clicking on the file above). 
  • You may take notes on these samples
  • What did you notice about each one? 
  • What score would you give each? 
2. Peer evaluation (passed out in class; click on above link for electronic copy):
  • Staple the peer evaluation sheet to the FRONT of the essay you are evaluating.
  • You MAY mark and leave notes on the essay you are evaluating. 
  • Fill out the peer editing sheet. You are putting the name of the person who wrote the essay under "Author's name" and the period that person is in under "Period."
