Article of the Week #2 (do on Canvas)

*Remember to type up your response on a Google Document to make sure your work is saved. Then, copy and paste it into Canvas.

Visit the following site and explore.  Read the "Did you know?" box, the pro/con arguments, the background, & watch the video at the end.http://wtcmuslimcenter.procon.org/

Next, visit http://nypost.com/2014/04/30/developer-ditches-ground-zero-mosque-to-create-museum-for-islam/ to read an update on the plans for a Ground Zero Mosque

Research more if you would like.  Then post a response with your own opinion and respond to at least two others.  For both your original response AND your response to others you MUST not only make a claim (or claims), but you must also USE SUPPORTING EVIDENCE for EVERY claim you make!  The evidence can come from history, literature, your own life, pop culture, and current events.  Be specific!  Use the They Say/I Say template to "enter the conversation" in both your original post and your response(s) to others!
