Spanish 3 (Period 1)

Spanish 3 is designed to provide third year Spanish learners with strategies to improve their oral and written Spanish through a variety of methods. A more advanced level of Spanish grammar mechanics is attained by further developing student’s ability to perform all the functions developed in Spanish 1 and 2. Emphasis is placed on student’s speaking ability as well as upon improving writing and reading skills. Students in Spanish 3 have the ability to comprehend and produce planned language (paragraphs and strings of paragraphs). Students are characterized by their knowledge of the rules and structure of the language and can read materials appropriate to their level of study. We will be using the textbook Descubre 3. Aside from the book, we will also use other resources such as Supersite website, songs, worksheets, workbooks, etc.
