Ricardo De La Peña
Ricardo De La Peña has served as an Assistant Principal with the WSHart UHSD since 2023 beginning at Saugus High School. Before this he served as an administrator with the Antelope Valley UHSD starting in 2016. This is also where he was a counselor for 10 years prior to joining administration.
Mr. De La Peña grew up in Oxnard, CA before attending the University of California, Santa Barbara. After graduating UCSB he began working for the Santa Paula UHSD as a Drop-out Prevention Specialist. It was here where he pursued his Pupil Personnel Services credential and Masters degree for Counseling through the University of La Verne. He would later returned to ULV for his Masters in Educational Administration.
