Brianna Ortiz, M. Ed
I am proud to serve as a School Counselor and Cheer Advisor at Golden Valley High School, a place that holds special meaning to me as a Golden Valley alumna. During my time as a student at GV, I was a four-year cheerleader and yearbook editor, experiences that helped shape my passion for student leadership, school spirit, and community involvement.
I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of California, San Diego and went on to complete my Master of Education in School Counseling at University of Southern California. My educational background and professional experience allow me to support students academically, socially, and emotionally as they prepare for life beyond high school.
Returning to Golden Valley in my current roles has been incredibly rewarding, as I am able to give back to the school community that played such an important role in my own journey. Outside of school, I am also a proud mom to a one-year-old, which further deepens my commitment to supporting students and families with care and understanding.
