Work Permit
Summer 2025:
During the summer (June 9 – August 7), work permits will be issued by appointment only. Appointments will be available:

Monday from 9am to 12pm

Tuesday from 1pm to 3pm

Wednesday from 1pm to 3pm

Thursday from 9am to 12pm
**Please note that we will not issue work permits on June 19th. The District Office is closed for Juneteenth.**
Each appointment is 15 minutes in length and can be scheduled by emailing [email protected].
The process to obtain a work permit is outlined below.

If a student has satisfactory grades and attendance, the work permit issued over the summer will expire on August 29, 2026.

If the student has a GPA below 2.0 or excessive absences, they will be issued a work permit for the summer only, expiring on August 29, 2025. This will require them to return to their school site for renewal.
Steps to Obtaining a Work Permit:
Step 1: Secure Employment
Students must secure a job before obtaining a work permit.
Step 2: Download the work permit application linked [HERE].
Step 3: Complete the application

Students: Fill out “Minor's Information” and “School Information” sections.

Employers: Complete and sign the “For Employer to Complete” section.

Parents/Guardians: Sign the form to provide consent.
Step 4: Request an Appointment
Email [email protected] to request a work permit. An auto-reply will provide appointment instructions.

Let the receptionist know you are there for a work permit and be sure to bring your ID.
Fall 2025:
In order for students to obtain a work permit, students must have a minimum of a 2.0 with no "F's" and have 20 days or less of unexcused tardies and/or absences in a quarter.
The process to obtain a work permit is outlined below.
Steps to Obtaining a Work Permit
Step 1: Secure Employment
Students need to secure a job before obtaining a work permit.
Step 2: Download the work permit application linked HERE.
Step 3: Complete the work permit application:
- Students are to complete the sections "Minor's Information" and "School Information."
- Employers are to complete the section "For Employer to Complete" - print and sign their name.
- Parents/guardians are required to sign the form for knowledge and consent.
Step 4: Return documentation to Lia Boscarino in the AP office
