2026/2027

Hello everyone,
As the school year comes to a close, we begin looking ahead to a new year and a new season!
Our next major event is Summer Camp, which will take place July 27th through August 7th, Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM. All information regarding Summer Camp can be found on the GVHS Athletics website.
The deadline to register is July 23rd. To participate, all players must have a physical that remains valid through March 2027 and must complete the athletic clearance process before camp begins.
Tryouts will be held during the first 2–3 weeks of school, and final rosters will be completed by the end of August.
I am entering my 8th season at Golden Valley and my 6th season as Varsity Head Coach. I am excited to continue this journey with our returning student athletes and to welcome new students who are eager to join, compete, and represent Golden Valley soccer. I would also like to thank our administration, booster club, and families for their continued support over the years. Our program would not be where it is today without you.
This season, we will continue to pursue success on the field while also focusing on strengthening our program as a community. Building meaningful connections between our players, families, alumni, and supporters is the next natural step in our growth, and I am excited to bring everyone together as we continue moving forward.

Program Roster

Gentlemen,
We begin the 2025/2026 school year right where we left off: setting new standards and accomplishing firsts in Golden Valley Boys Soccer history. This summer, we welcomed a record 74 players to our Summer Camp, where they sharpened their game over 10 training sessions. The energy was unmatched as returning athletes and an exciting new player pool competed fiercely for roster spots from Day 1.
That momentum carried into tryouts, where 100 players showcased their skills. The level of talent and determination made for some of the toughest roster decisions we’ve ever faced, but it has resulted in what I believe to be the strongest collection of teams this program has ever assembled. For context, in previous years Golden Valley Boys Soccer carried a program of around 75 players. This year, we narrowed it to 60.
With this foundation, I am confident that the 2025/2026 season will be another chapter of record-breaking moments, unforgettable achievements, and continued pride for our school.
At this time, I would like to congratulate all 60 players who earned a roster spot this year.
Additionally, we have created a reserve roster to ensure our squads remain reinforced should players be unable to participate due to injury, academics, moving, or other circumstances.
For those who were not selected, I extend my sincere gratitude and encouragement. It is never easy to make cuts, especially when so much effort has been put forth. I strongly encourage every player who did not make a team to continue developing their skills, focus on fitness, and return ready to compete at our 2026 Summer Camp.
