Boys soccer player suffers injury

Jonathan Saavedera is a 16 year old Golden Valley High School Varsity Soccer player. On December 14, 2017 during a soccer match Jonathan unfortunately was hit and lost both of his front teeth. The cost of such dental replacement is costly and his family could use our help in raising funds to help with the cost. Any donation is highly appreciated. Please help us put a smile on Jonathan's face again.

GV Alum Scott Barlow signs with pro baseball team

The road to Scott Barlow’s first guaranteed major league contract, like most players, was far from a direct path. It started in Quaker Hill, Conn., brought him out to Golden Valley his freshman year of high school, next up was seven seasons in the minors, and then, finally, the right-hander inked a one-year $900,000 deal Wednesday with the Kansas City Royals.
