1- Summer Check in Dates
2- New Bell Schedule - 2 late start days (Thursday and Friday) - Students start at 9am and they go to 3 block classes
We have changed our Bell Schedule for the 2026-27 school year due to the following reasons:
- Data showed a need for change in order to reach ALL students
- Lack of student participation in after-school support.
- Inconsistent teacher availability after school and during lunch breaks
- No built-in support during the school day
- Daily teacher contact made the transition (from La Mesa) to GV harder - used to only seeing their teachers every other day
- This schedule mimics La Mesa with support built in 2 days a week and 2 block days; 3 traditional days are still in the schedule for our students who have been at GV.
