- Each May, California salutes the important contributions of classified school employees during Classified School Employee Week (CSEW). This year, we will be celebrating the theme: Trusted, Inclusive, United.
"This week is a time for our communities, school districts, and elected leaders to recognize what we’ve always known—that the work we do matters," said Association President Adam Weinberger. "From transportation and food services to technology, maintenance, and direct classroom support, we are the backbone of California’s public schools. We may work behind the scenes, but our impact is front and center in the lives of millions of students."
Classified employees have earned respect as educators and partners in the education community. More importantly, they have become recognized as the essential frontline workers who keep our schools up and running while making a difference in the lives of the students they serve.
