This year, the math placement for incoming 9th grade students is determined by the report card grades they earned in their 8th grade math course and their performance on the District Math Placement Test - both were given equal weight in determining the placement. The opportunity to retake the test will be offered and should only apply to a minimal number of students whose score does not reflect past academic performance and where the parent believes the child’s placement is not appropriate

Friday, August 4th Room 202 12pm-1pm

 The test will be given online.
 Pencils and scratch paper will be provided.
 Calculators will NOT BE PERMITTED.
 Students will be given 40 minutes to complete the test.
 Students must bring a photo ID, preferably their 8th grade school ID card.
