Hi Everyone,

Here is the plan for Band Camp next week. At this time, we do not know when the fire command center is going to be vacating GV so we are going to be moving everything to La Mesa. They have plenty of field space for us to do basics and learn drill. And, there are lot's of shaded areas throughout the campus for sectionals. We will be outside for the entire camp so everyone will need to bring lots of water and sunblock.

Here is the plan:
8-9:30 * winds and battery marching on the upper field
* color guard with Brian (location TBD)
* front ens. with Megan (location TBD)
9:40-10:20 *winds and color guard movement with Brian (location TBD)
*battery with Hector & Hanke / front ens. with Megan
10:30-12:00 *sectionals (locations TBD)

12-5 BREAK

5-7:30 *marching on upper field / learning dots
7:45-9 *full ensemble on blacktop

Our "command center" for now is the shaded area in front of the La Mesa Band Room. We will meet there at 8:00am Monday morning.

We will need to load the trailers with all of the equipment that we will need for camp so... let's plan to have drum majors, the percussion section, tubas and color guard captains meet at GV Friday morning at 11:00am. You will need to be dropped off or park in the faculty lot and walk down to the band room.

**If anyone else needs to get anything from the band room, you will need to come Friday at 11:00am as well.
