1. Use the brainstorm (planning) you already completed in class for either the personal essay or the personal narrative. This can be found in your Google Docs on your drive OR in your turnitin.com account IF you completed and submitted the assignment.
2. Properly use the MLA format for your writing. This includes a creative title for your writing.
3. Use a Google Doc for your essay. The file name for both the Google Doc and your turnitin.com upload should be:  LAST NAME, FIRST INITIAL-FINAL EXAM.
4. Identify the internal conflict in your personal essay by using green font.
5. Identify the external conflict in your personal essay by using blue font.
6. Use at least five (5) new vocabulary words from our SAT unit list (see next page). Identify the words you used by bolding each one.
7. Use five examples of sensory details. Underline each that you use. 
8. Proofread your essay and upload to Turnitin.com using the same file name as indicated in #3 above.
