Honors English 10 (Period 4) Assignments

Vocab quizzes take place one a week on Fridays (except for Period 4, which is on Thursdays). 

Dialectical Journal for Outside Reading Book #2

Reading for the week of 11/19/12:
Friday (11/16): Read Dante's Inferno Canto 3 (Lit book pp. 619-625) + Notes by MONDAY

Monday (11/19): Complete at least two dialectical journal entries by TOMORROW for the DJ progress check.
Tuesday (11/20): Read Dante's Inferno Canto 4 and take notes

Tuesday: Read pp. 610-618 (Inferno, Canto I) and take notes by Thursday.
Read pp. 542-553 (Historical Background) and answer writing prompt 30 (if not completed in class).
Wednesday: No new reading. Study for the vocab quiz.
Thursday: Read pp. 619-625 (Inferno, Canto III) and take notes by Monday.
Friday: Finish Reading Canto III

Friday (11/2): Read pp. 506-510 (Poetry of Catullus and Horace) and take notes

Monday (11/5): Read pp. 514-518 (The Story of Daedalus and Icarus) and take notes
Tuesday (11/6): No new reading.
Wednesday (11/7): No new reading. Study for Vocab Quiz 12 and Ancient Greece and Rome Quiz
Thursday (11/8): Read pp. 566-574 and take notes (How Siegfried Was Slain)
Friday (11/9): Read pp. 542-553 and take notes (Introduction to the Middle Ages)
