Friday, May 23rd, is the mandatory Cap and Gown meeting for all graduating seniors. Seniors need to be in the Golden Valley gym no later than 8 AM. Enter on parking lot side only.  At this meeting seniors will be given graduation seating assignments and important instructions about graduation. Seniors will also receive their caps and gowns and take their senior class Panorama Picture. The Panorama Picture will cost $20 (envelopes will be provided by O’Connor Photography) - Note: there is an additional $12 shipping fee to have pictures delivered to your home, otherwise they may be picked up at O'Connor Studio.  For any senior who is using a sibling’s cap and gown, they should bring it on Friday, so they can wear it for the panorama picture.  Also, tassels can be purchased on Friday morning for $10 cash.

Attendance at Friday’s Cap and Gown meeting is mandatory. In order to participate in the graduation ceremony on June 2nd, seniors must be present at the meeting this Friday.

Any senior who still needs to turn in textbooks must turn them in to the library before the meeting on Friday. The Library will be open at 7:15 am.  All ASB debts and Library fines must be cleared by Friday as well.

For all seniors attending COC next year, there is an important meeting with COC representatives, after the Panorama Picture on Friday.  The meeting will held in the GV theater at 10:15 AM. 

Congratulations to the Class of 2014 and all of their hard work and efforts these past four years. We are very proud of you.

A final note:  Friday, May 23rd is the last day on campus for Seniors. Seniors should refrain from visiting the GV campus, unless they have specific school approved business. We owe our underclassmen the opportunity to focus on finishing off the school year and their finals.
