This fall marks a year since Jackee has been in Ann Arbor at the University of Michigan Medical School pursuing a Doctorate degree in Pharmacology (expected graduation Spring/Summer 2019). Jackee is currently focusing on finishing up curriculum requirements and starting her thesis research. Her research is focused on investigating melanoma and mechanisms of chemotherapy resistance. Additionally, she recently applied into the MD/PhD program, at Michigan, and is waiting to here back from admissions. If all goes as planned, she will graduate with a dual degree in May 2023.
