Mrs. Silva

Mrs. Silva is new and a long- term substitute teacher at Golden Valley High School.  Mrs. Silva teaches Newcomer English.  She possesses preliminary teaching credentials in English and Spanish.  Mrs. Silva has been working as a substitute teacher since 2019.  Mrs. Silva earned a Bachelor’s degree in English from Cal State Long Beach in 2018 and her English preliminary credential in 2020 from California State University, Fresno.  Mrs. Silva also earned authorization to teach Spanish in March 2023. 

Mrs. Silva's first language is Spanish and is a passionate teacher.  Mrs. Silva’s priority as a teacher is to establish a positive rapport with students, staff, and parents.

Mrs. Silva is excited about continuing to develop her teaching skills and about imparting her knowledge so her students achieve success.
