It didn’t take long for Golden Valley alumnus TJ Wiggins to etch his name in the Long Beach State record books.

Wiggins broke the freshman discus record on his first official throw as a collegiate athlete at the Beach Opener over the weekend. The freshman took a few more attempts and extended his own record to 56.39 meters.

Four sets couldn’t decide a winner in Friday night’s Foothill League contest between Hart Indian boys’ volleyball and the Golden Valley Grizzlies.

GV Boys Soccer may have accomplished a program first by winning it's fourth consecutive Foothill League Contest. In doing so they clinched a CIFSS Playoff spot. The Signal covers the story here.

Our Grizzlies fought hard and lost 28 - 27 to the Laguna Hills Hawks in the packed Canyon HS Stadium Saturday night. It was a tremendous season for our Grizzlies. Despite the tough loss, this is the most successful football team in school history. Congratulations Grizzlies.
