"Bienvenidos"

Erika graduated from Universidad Autónoma de México (U.N.A.M) in Mexico City, where she earned a B.S. in Pedagogy (Science of Education). She has a degree in Spanish Language and Linguistics, a Master Degree in Leadership and Management of Schools, and she has been in the United States for more than 16 years. 

She got married to the love of her life (Eduardo) in Mexico City in 1999. She has three kids, one son, Eduardo and two daughters, Maria and Emilia. They love hugs and they enjoy playing tennis. 

Her family is her everything and she wants to be the best mom, teacher, runner and human being.

 

Erika has been giving classes for 29 years (Elementary through College). 

In 2016 the Department of Education hired her to be the writer of the CAASPP en Español, she loves to write the test for the State of California and she adores being able to help, not only her students, but everyone who crosses her pathway. 


Erika loves to run! She did her first Ultra-marathon (50 miles) in 2016 and her first Half Ironman in July 2018, and her second half Ironman (Palm Springs)in December 2018. 

She thinks that when you run, your life looks different, it makes you renewed and allows you to perceive situations with more sanity.
