Golden Valley Academic Interventions

Student Work Center @ the Library: Monday - Thursday from 3:10p.m. to 5:10p.m. All subjects. Any student may attend. There are 1-2 supervising teachers and peer tutors for academic assistance. Students must work on assignments from class, study, research, use the computers for school work, or work on any projects for their classes. Paper, pens, highlighters, staplers, tape, and other resources are available to use upon request. Students must be productive and working on class assignments to attend. Students who are not being productive may be asked to leave. There is no Student Work Center on minimum days.

Math Corner is open all week for all levels of math. There are math teachers available twice a week and peer tutors available four days a week in a corner of the library. There is no Math Corner on minimum days.
