Paws: I often address kids in schools regarding such things as leadership, trust, respect, judgement, bullying etc. I use my experiences working with animals as examples of the things I talk about. I've been told by teachers etc that the presence of Paws makes a difference in how the kids pay attention to what is presented. We have worked with kids from 3rd grade up through high school. We are participants in the Sheriff Dept's VIDA program for "at risk kids". Paws is excellent with kids with special needs. I always tailor the presentation to the age group and circumstances of the audience I am addressing. My passion in life is helping animals, kids and veterans. I am a lead dog trainer for a national organization that trains shelter dogs for veterans with PTSD, TBI, etc. We also host an equine veterans clinic at our ranch. I am always looking for opportunities where Paws and I can help.
