Boys Basketball "Shoe Drive" Fundraiser (Extended through 9/30)

Our Boys basketball team is doing a mixed shoe drive, going on now, as part of their fundraising campaign. They are looking to Collect gently-used shoes of All sizes and types of shoes... except ski boots and golf shoes. There will be large collections bins near the gym for drop off and GVHS will be participating in the school wide event.
Great news - We are
extending the shoe drive through the end of the month!
What happens to the shoes?
Once the shoes are received at the Los Angeles warehouse, they are processed for export to various countries in South America & Africa, where they create thousands of jobs for micro-entrepreneurs who resell them as a means of supporting their families. It's an amazing way to help so many people become self-sufficient and get them out of the poverty trap and on to a brighter path.
